It’s Friday which means it’s time for the Q&A of the week.
This week’s question, “Do you have a routine bodyweight exercise when traveling?”
Depending on where I’m traveling I don’t like to spend too much time at the gym. I want to enjoy the scenes and time away. So, I typically go to some sort of HIIT training regimen.
High Intensity Interval Training is quick burst of energy with minimal to no rest in-between.
These short bursts of energy boost metabolic rate, increase muscle tone, and burn even more calories than a long steady cardio session. This is due to the “after burn” effect. This “after burn” effect actually burns fat and increases calorie burn not just during the workout but well after a HIIT workout is finished.
So, it’s a great go-to when traveling!
Example Exercise:
Jumping Jacks x 30 Sec.
Plank Pushups x 30 Sec.
Sitouts x 30 Sec.
Mountain Climbers x 30 Sec
Rest x 30 Sec.
Repeat 3-4 times
Hey guys welcome to Q&A Friday. The question of the day, what’s my training routine when traveling?
