Exercising is not just for the fit fans.  Getting in shape and staying in shape has lasting benefits that helps you in a plethora of lifestyle avenues.

 

Whether you are a stay at home mom, entrepreneur, student, you name it, working out benefits everyone in any lifestyle.

 

Energy Boost

In 20 minutes a minimum of 3 times per week of low-to-moderate intensity exercise can increase energy levels by 20 percent and decrease fatigue by 65 percent, according to a University of Georgia study.

 

This can include a brisk walk or jog, maybe a HIIT workout or a bike ride.  Either way getting your body moving will get your day fueled and your mental game going.

 

Stress Relieve

This has always been my “why” when it comes to working out.  It’s not just a physical image that you should pursue. In fact, starting a fitness regimen for the mere fact of “looks” won’t take you very far.  Why? Because, it’s not lasting motivation and the success of fitness is in the journey not the destination.

Once you find your go-to fitness regimen stick with it for 6 to 8 weeks and then switch it up. This will allow your progress to sustain and it will also zap the stress bug away.

 

My favorite workouts to relieve stress are quick high intensity workouts such as running or boxing. But a slower steady pace yoga session also does the trick.

 

Time Management

Time blocking a fitness routine inevitably unfolds good time management strategies.  Put it in the agenda along with your other activities. The key is to get it in writing.  This helps you manage time better and the seeing it is believing it as well.

 

Don’t make fitness the nemesis make it your apart of your daily routine and find the great benefits in your entire deminure.
